KidsCan believes that education is a child’s ticket out of poverty, and gives them the opportunity for a better future. We help the 1 in 6 Kiwi kids experiencing hardship by providing food, jackets, shoes and health products to schools and early childhood centres across New Zealand.
Helping to make this possible is our business community: our Principal Partner Meridian Energy, Major Partners, Associate Partners and Business Supporters. The financial and in-kind support of our business community enables us reach more children - together we help Kiwi kids in need participate in learning each year.
Our KidsCan partners are truly invested in the education, health and wellbeing of Kiwi kids to help break the cycle of poverty. They work with us to help children in need, and create meaningful, measurable differences for their teams, customers and community. Their support includes financial and in-kind donations, plus volunteering their time and resources.
Our KidsCan business supporters are usually small to medium businesses who want to make a difference to their communities. They do this by giving an annual donation of $5,000 or more, or by supporting 15 or more Kiwi kids through our monthly giving programme.
As a Major Partner, you'll have access to KidsCan's volunteering programme, campaign association, reporting and accountability of funding.
As an Associate Partner, you'll receive campaign association, regular reporting and accountability of funding. We love to work with our Associate Partners on fun partner fundraising campaigns.
Our Business Supporters are usually individuals, or small to medium sized businesses wanting to give back to their local community. They receive regular reporting and accountability of funding.
Our focus at ASB is accelerating financial progress for all New Zealanders, and that starts from a young age with children getting a good education at school. Every child deserves to go to school warm, dry and well-fed so they can make the most of the opportunities they have.
